Open Knowledge Maps is dedicated to increasing the visibility of scientific knowledge for science and society alike. As part of its mission, the charitable non-profit organization operates the largest visual search engine for research in the world. On openknowledgemaps.org, you can create knowledge maps of research topics in any discipline. These visual overviews show the main areas in a field and contain relevant papers and concepts. In this presentation we will introduce the community-driven initiative developed according to open standards and provide a short demo of the visual search engine.
