The EE4M project addresses the urgent need for training, re-, and upskilling engineers across the entire mobility value chain – from raw materials to recycling. Driven by rapidly evolving factors such as shifting consumer behavior, disruptive technologies, decarbonization, and hyperlocal mobility, the mobility sector in Europe demands a transformation in engineering education. EE4M focuses on developing green and digital competencies through innovative vocational education formats – online, hybrid, blended, and on-site. The project is supported by a transnational platform connecting Austria, Greece, Italy, and Spain. Its core innovation lies in using the full mobility value chain to realign engineering education with industry needs, creating targeted competence profiles. EE4M contributes to social change by empowering engineers to lead sustainable, future-oriented transformations in the mobility sector.
