The preservation of cultural heritage in the digital age requires innovative solutions, collaborative efforts, and interdisciplinary approaches. With the support of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, the DISCULTHER project investigates the digitalization of cultural heritage in both museum and activist contexts in Graz and Novi Sad. By examining innovation, discrepancies, and discursive frameworks, the project provides insights into the multiple dimensions of digitalized heritage, including its potential to engage citizens and foster intercultural dialogue. DISCULTHER combines qualitative and digital methods and transcends the disciplinary boundaries to shed light on often overlooked aspects of museum digitalization.
